A Quick How-to Guide: Recording your Introduction Video
The easiest way for you to record yourself (using your laptop's built-in webcam) is to use the native camera app already installed on your computer.
Windows
Windows has a built-in Camera app that records video directly to the laptop's hard drive.
Open the Start Menu and type Camera.
Click on the Camera app to open it.
Click the Video icon on the right side of the window to switch from photo mode to video mode.
Click the red Record button to start, and click it again to stop.
The video will automatically save to the Pictures > Camera Roll folder.
Find the course sharing space click the upload file icon and locate your video.
Mac
Macs have a built-in app called Photo Booth designed specifically for this.
Press Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight search, type Photo Booth, and press Enter.
Click the Video icon in the bottom-left corner of the window (it looks like a small film strip).
Click the red Camera button in the center to start recording.
Click the Stop button when finished.
Drag the recorded video thumbnail from the bottom tray directly onto the desktop to save it.
Find the course sharing space click the upload file icon and locate your video.
